FAQs

Yes, I ship to most countries. Shipping costs will apply and will be added at checkout.

I ship all orders within 2-5 business days, unless stated otherwise in a temporary site announcement.

Domestic deliveries take between 3-12 days, depending on your chosen shipping option. If you are interested in a fast delivery, please choose courier shipping at checkout and contact me, I will do my utmost to speed up the process to the best of my ability.

Overseas deliveries can take anywhere from 7- 21 days, depending on your location. Delays are possible due to Covid.

I will refund the full price of a purchase which is damaged in transit. Please take photos of it as soon as it arrives and contact me.  As most pieces are one of a kind, it is usually not possible to replace the item. Fortunately, due to very good packaging, this doesn’t happen very often!

I always aim to make sure my customers love my work, but if you would like to return an order, I’m happy to help. Just email me directly and I’ll take you through the process. The buyer is responsible for initial shipping costs and return shipping costs. Meaning, I can refund the price of the product, but not the shipping costs. Please make sure to pack the item very well as I will not be able to offer a refund on items that arrive back to the studio damaged. Please read my return policy prior to purchase.

I cannot accept returns for custom-made or personalized orders, unless they arrive damaged.

Customers are responsible for any handling fees, custom and import taxes that may apply.

It is possible that you will incur taxes. This could involve Import VAT, custom duties and a clearance fee. I have done my best to research the current policies, and I automatically add 20% VAT to orders up to £130 and I pay that directly for you. Orders over that sum will be charged VAT directly by the UK. These policies are in flux but hopefully in the future I will be able to provide you with more detailed information. Visit https://www.gov.uk/goods-sent-from-abroad/tax-and-duty to see current information on behalf of the UK government.

I accept custom orders when possible, depending on my workload and the current availability of materials. If you are interested in a custom order, please contact me directly and we’ll discuss it.

Yes, I use food safe glazes on all my pieces, unless clearly stated otherwise in the item’s description. I don’t recommend eating off anything that is unglazed

You may have seen a piece that hasn’t been added to the site yet, if this is the case, you can request to purchase it. If it is an item that has already been sold, you can contact me to see if I’m currently able to accept custom orders in order to create something similar for you. Please contact me for further details.

If you are interested in selling Naomi Tate Maghen Ceramic Art at you shop, please contact me and we’ll discuss the possibility.

All my pottery is made from very high quality stoneware clay or porcelain, to make sure they can easily withstand everyday use. Many items can be put in the dishwasher and microwave (this is not the case if there is gold or another metallic lustre applied to the piece). Although these pieces are dishwasher safe, it is always best to hand wash when possible.

My porcelain jewellery is made with high quality gold-filled fittings. Though gold-fill is hardier than gold plated items, It is best not to shower with them to ensure that they maintain their beauty over the years.

Since I need to make sure the pottery you ordered arrives safely, it must have a lot of bubble-wrap surrounding it. However, I do wrap all pieces in my branded paper – sometimes above the bubble wrap and sometimes beneath it, depending on the piece. I am more than happy to add a handwritten message from you included with the present you bought. Please contact me if you’d like a message added to your purchase.

Please contact me if you have any problems, questions, challenges or doubts via the contact me page and I will do my best to help.
