My carved pink porcelain mug was wheel thrown from the finest English porcelain. The outside was hand carved and after the bisque firing, I painted 3 layers of a pink underglaze on the exterior. I then glazed the interior and the rim in a glossy, studio clear glaze. The exterior is unglazed, creating a beautiful matt contrast to the crisp white, glossy interior. I particularly like the feel of the unglazed porcelain and it’s super non-slip! Dishwasher safe.
