This carved porcelain mug set was made from the finest porcelain slip. The texture was hand carved and after they were bisque fired to 1046 degrees Celsius, They were glazed in a glossy clear studio glaze. After the glaze firing, I painted 22k gold onto the rims and fired them for a third time to 740 degrees. Hand wash only and unsafe to use in the microwave due to the real gold rim.
