All items are handmade with love by Naomi. No two pieces are exactly alike, including in sets. The flow of glazes is affected by many variables, so will never be identical and due to the hand made nature, pieces may not be perfectly symmetrical or the same exact size as other pieces (in sets). Pinholes can occur due to off-gassing in the kiln. Minor pinholes and texture in glazes which doesn’t reach the clay surface is not considered an imperfection. Pieces which are otherwise desirable but have a few deeper pinholes or a minor s-crack on the base will be sealed with liquid quartz and sold at a reduced price in the seconds category. These faults will be mentioned in the item’s description.
The piece which is purchased will be the exact piece shown in the images, unless stated otherwise in the description. I’m very careful when editing my images to try to portray the piece as accurately as possible. Colours can appear slightly differently, depending on the screen it’s viewed on.

SHIPPING

1. All parcels are shipped from Israel. Some countries impose a customs and/or V.A.T charge on imported goods. Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. I attach the proper documentation to speed up the customs process but I cannot estimate what these costs may be and it’s the customer’s responsibility to verify what the charges are. By law I need to declare the full value of your goods on the shipping label, even if your purchase is a gift. You may contact me to let me know that a purchase is a gift and I will mark it as such on the label, but depending on which country it is being shipped to, taxes may still apply. If a parcel isn’t collected from the post office or delivery is denied due to a failure to pay applicable taxes, the cost of the item will be returned to the customer once the piece has been returned to the studio, minus the return shipping fee, credit card/paypal fees and a 5% handling fee (which covers handling and packaging).

VAT:

Orders being sent outside Israel are exempt from Israeli VAT. UK law requires that I charge 20% VAT on orders up to the sum of £135 (not including shipping). This will be added at checkout and I will send these taxes to the relevant address in the UK. The buyer will be responsible for paying any requested VAT on orders above £135.

Each piece is carefully wrapped and boxed. Unless otherwise stated at checkout, it will take me between 2-5 days to process your order and prepare it for shipping. (Not including custom orders) The standard shipping is with Israel registered mail. Tracking is available for most countries worldwide. Your package can be tracked on the Israel Post website until it leaves Israel. When your package arrives in your destination country it can be tracked on your local postal tracking website to your door. Please note there are no tracking updates in transit from Israel to your destination country.
Within Israel, you can select to receive your goods via a courier. The courier service usually takes between 1-5 days to arrive.

Standard shipping times are usually as listed below, but cannot be guaranteed and may be longer due to Covid:

Israel: 1 – 14 days

USA: 14 – 28 days

Canada: 14 – 42 days (please allow for customs clearance delays)

Europe: 9 – 21 days (please allow for customs clearance delays)

Australia: 14 – 42 days

New Zealand: 14 – 42 days

Rest of the World: 14- 42 days

If your order is urgent, please select Courier shipping at checkout within Israel.
For express worldwide shipping, please contact me for a quote, preferably before you complete your purchase, and I will send you a separate invoice for the shipping cost once you’ve confirmed that you’d like to proceed with express shipping. Currently, express shipping can only be paid for via PayPal.

You can contact me to let me know an order is urgent and I’ll try to speed up the processing for your order.

My studio is located in Modiin, Israel. If you have selected to collect your order from the studio, please contact me at 1poppyred@gmail.com to arrange a time/day to pick it up. It will usually be ready to be picked up 1-2 days after the order is placed.

All shipping times are approximate, including express shipping and although every effort will be made to meet those times, they cannot be guaranteed.

 

RETURNS

An order canceled within 48 hours will be refunded in full, less a 5% administration fee, as long as it hasn’t been processed for shipping yet. If it has been processed, the policy below will apply.

1. Returns on full price merchandise must be made within 30 days of purchase. A 5% cancellation fee will be deducted from the purchase price.
2. All products must be returned unused, undamaged and in their original boxes. Please make sure to package the item/s very carefully and securely, as I won’t be able to refund items which arrive to the studio damaged.
3. Items that have been personalized, reduced items and seconds are non-refundable.
4. Shipping costs (even if included in the displayed price) are non-refundable.
If an item is returned from outside Israel you must mark the parcel “Returned goods” so that it does not incur unnecessary delays or fees at customs.
1. You are responsible for arranging insurance on the item. You are responsible for the cost of the shipment of the item. (Other than on returning damaged goods)
2. Upon receipt of the returned item, you will be refunded the purchase price, less the shipping costs and a 5% administration fee. Damaged goods: I put in every effort to securely package my pieces. In the unfortunate event that an item arrives damaged, please contact me at naomitatemaghen@gmail.com. Please send me photos of the damaged piece/s and of the box. After having inspected the photos, I will refund the purchase price minus a 5% handling fee. In most instances you will not be required to return the damaged goods to the studio. Whether or not returning the damaged goods will be necessary will be determined on an individual basis.

 

GIFTS


If your item is a gift and you’d like to send a personalised message, please contact me and I’ll be happy to write the message for you.

If a gift is returned, I’ll only be able to issue a refund to the account which purchased the gift, according to the conditions stated above.
