Blue Surf Seder Plate

This Blue Surf Pesach Plate was hand built from high-fire stoneware. I created the deep texture by pressing a collage of fabrics into the wet clay. After it was bisque fired, I applied a six glaze combination which looks beautiful over texture. The texture on the small plates reminds me of mountain scenery, or an abstract seascape. They have hand painted 22k gold lettering, spelling out the names of the foods used at the Seder. Hand wash only.
