Chai Pendant Necklace

This Chai pendant necklace was hand made from porcelain in my central Israel studio. The glaze combination transitions from a satin, pewter effect around the outside to a glossy blue in the centre. It has a hand painted, 24k white gold rim (which is a satin finish) and a glossy, 24k white gold ‘Chai’ (Life) written in Hebrew in its centre. It hangs on an adjustable, black leather chord with sterling silver fittings and a metal extension chain. To preserve the white gold, it is not advised to bathe while wearing it.
