Coloured Porcelain Shot Glasses

This set of 4, coloured porcelain shot glasses were created through the Nerikome technique. I layered many colours of porcelain, rolled them and layered them again until I achieved appealing patterns. I then cut out little hearts from more coloured porcelain, and positioned them on the patterned slab and compressed it. Once happy with the porcelain slab, I hand built the shot glasses. After the bisque firing, I glazed them in a studio clear glaze and glaze fired then to 1220 degrees Celsius. They can be used for your favourite alcoholic beverage, or as espresso cups. Dishwasher safe.
