Splitting of the Sea Seder Plate

This Splitting of the Sea Passover Plate was hand built from high fire stoneware. The abstract rendition of the splitting of the sea was created using a technique I developed, whereby I apply tens of different glazes, encouraging them to swirl and blend into each other, through numerous glaze firings. I painted the wording of the Seder foods in 22k gold luster on the six small plates. This is sure to become a cherished family heirloom and can be enjoyed year round displayed on a plate stand.
