Stamped Hand Made Teal Glyph Espresso Cup Set

This stamped teal glyph espresso cup and saucer set was hand made from dark brown stoneware clay. It is finished in a glossy teal glaze at the top of each cup, inside and on the saucers, and a metallic glaze with tones of pewter, gold and silver over the texture on the cups, and on the rims of the saucers. This set is comprised of 2 espresso cups and 2 saucers. They are very similar, but are not exactly the same due to their hand made nature. this is a very unique set which brings to mind both ancient glyphs and steam-punk aesthetics. Each piece in the collection is individually stamped using tools I made in the studio, creating a tactile surface that feels as good as it looks. If you’re not an espresso drinker, this cup doubles as a shot glass when the sun descends (and the sun is always descending somewhere…) There is an XL mug with a similar design in the collection.
