Stamped Jade Hand Made Teapot

This stamped, jade teapot is hand made from dark brown stoneware clay and is finished in a satin, jade glaze on both the interior and exterior of the vessel. The lid has two little protrusions to help the lid remain in place while pouring. It can be a little tricky to remove the lid – please twist it gently and tip it up to find the right area to remove it. the teapot has an integral tea-strainer in the body of the teapot, behind the spout. There are two teacups and saucers with the same glaze finish and a similar pattern in the collection.

Each piece in the collection is individually stamped using tools I made in the studio, creating a tactile surface that feels as good as it looks.
