This hand sculpted lovers platter was created from high fire stoneware. The depiction of the lovers is surrounded in a raised texture accomplished by pressing lace doilies of different sizes around the slab of clay. The piece is glazed in a satin finish, white glaze and a lilac glaze with pale crystals floating in it. It could be displayed on a plate stand, or it would make an incredibly unique fruit platter.
