Richter Tumbler

My ‘Richter Tumbler’ was hand made from fine English porcelain. It has a multi-glaze finish which I applied like an abstract painting. Every stroke needed to be repeated 3 times and as so much glaze has a tendency to flow a lot, I fired it on a riser and a drip dish, and sanded the base afterwards as I would a crystalline piece. Due to the thickness of the glaze, there’s a little texture in the base, This is only on the surface and doesn’t affect its function. Dishwasher safe and microwave safe, but I always recommend hand washing hand made ceramics.
