Stamped Blue Hand Made Teapot and Teabowl

This stamped, blue teapot and matching tea bowl are hand made from dark brown stoneware clay and are finished in a glossy, rutile blue glaze on the exterior of the teapot and on the whole teabowl, with the interior of the teapot glazed in a paler shade of rutile blue. The lid has a little protrusions to help the lid remain in place while pouring. The teapot has an integral tea-strainer in the body of the teapot, behind the spout. This listing includes the little, ceremonial tea bowl.

Each piece in the collection is individually stamped using tools I made in the studio, creating a tactile surface that feels as good as it looks.
